Description

MOPYLEN® is a synthetic suture, which is manufactured by polymerising propylene.
The suture is produced from the dyed granules using the dry spinning process.

• isotactic polypropylene

Properties:
• excellent knot security
• consistently high tear resistance
• excellent tissue passage
• hydrophobic
• non-ageing

The suture is hydrophobic, i.e., it absorbs practically no water and is chemically inert.
MOPYLEN® is an ideal skin suture, especially in plastic surgery and anywhere, where an excellent cosmetic result is critical.

The material is coloured with a physiologically harmless dye.
